Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890) was one of the most influential artists in the history of Western art. Featured here, alongside his Sunflowers (1889) painting, is a page from one of the letters he wrote to his brother Theo. We are honoured to partner with the Van Gogh Museum for this special Embellished Manuscripts Collection release.

Paperblanks is a Canadian manufacturer that produces quality journals that are not only attractive but also extremely well-structured, bound using traditional techniques; the bindings are not glued (a technique that is economical for the manufacturer but eventually leads to page loss) but are instead all sewn.
All Paperblanks journals are bound using one of two methods. They are either hand-sewn using 'Coptic' binding, which originated in 4th-century Egypt, or Smyth sewn, the most durable binding technique, which allows the journal to lay flat without page loss.
All Paperblanks journals use acid-free, archival-quality, high-opacity, fine-laid writing paper. Their journals also include a ribbon marker and an inner pocket inside the back cover to store your notes.
