Go back to a time when inventors held sway, electricity was a relatively new concept, and experiments and discoveries flowed through misty streets. Step into the world of Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest inventors and scientists of all time.
Tesla was a Serbian-American inventor, scientist, electrical and mechanical engineer, physicist, and futurist. He is best known for his key contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system.
The sketch reproduced on the cover of this Embellished Manuscript belongs to the inventor's turbine research and is one of the thousands of original documents housed at the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade, Serbia.
What is particularly special about this sketch is that it is one of the very few drawings created by Tesla himself. The inventor rarely put his ideas on paper, instead relying on his innate ability to visualize objects and buildings in great detail using only his imagination.
Today, Tesla's legacy lives on in popular culture and technology, most notably in Tesla, Inc., which specializes in electric vehicles, solar panels, and lithium-ion batteries.
Celebrate the emergence of an idea with this commemorative journal; the scientist and inventor himself once said, "I loved books more than anything else."

Paperblanks is a Canadian manufacturer that produces quality journals that are not only attractive but also extremely well-structured and bound using traditional techniques; the bindings are not glued (a binding technique that is economical for the manufacturer but eventually leads to page loss) but are instead all sewn.
All Paperblanks journals are bound using one of two methods. They are either hand-sewn using 'Coptic' binding, which dates back to 4th-century Egypt, or Smyth sewn, the most durable binding technique, which allows the journal to open flat without losing pages.
All Paperblanks journals use acid-free, archival-quality, and high-opacity laid writing paper. Their journals also feature a ribbon bookmark and an inner pocket inside the back cover to store your notes.
